This July, more than 600 individuals from local communities and social justice organizations will come together for an historic meeting in Philadelphia. The Convention for the Common Good, of which the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns is a cosponsor, will be held from July 11-13 (preceded by a gathering** sponsored by Pax Christi USA) and will feature religious leaders, policy experts, citizens, and national and local elected officials from across the country.

On Friday June 27, when Zimbabweans return to polling stations to vote in a run-off presidential election, people around the world are invited to join in a day of prayer and fasting, in whatever form they are able, for the people of Zimbabwe.
